Kungfu is a science; it is an art to defeat the opponent. It can never be a tool of the evil to lord it over a district or bully the weak. It ought to be on the justice side rather than on the evil side. It is a useful weapon to protect oneself in case of having no other choices, an invaluable treasure to preserve health and cultivate mind and a door onto the Way. Every people in the world shall get to know and understand it, for it is the real value of life. Although Tai-chi Way 's Kungfu is very practical for fight, which is different from other types of Tai-chi Chuan, it serves only as a game for people. Those who intend to practice martial art may practice it more often; those who have no such intention may exercise it less or not at all. Health is the basis of life; this is why we shall attach importance to it, but soul tranquilization is the real goal. Kungfu is hard to be expressed in an all-round way because every Kungfu has unlimited mystery, which is ineffable no matter how much you speak, so I only mention it here. However, so long as people can understand it, Kungfu is actually easy to learn. Tai-chi Way 's Kungfu and health preservation approaches are directly connected with the core of human culture, namely, the Way. Laozi said to the effect that the Great Way is most simple and easy. The complicated thing is in fact farther away from the Way. However, it is more attractive to human. Nowadays, some boxing masters tend to complicate the movement, posture and connotation of the martial art. Just because their Kungfu is complicated, on the contrary, they attract more followers. The result is to do harm to both themselves and others, who, however, can't detect it. Scientific Kungfu stays actually with one who practice it. The deeper you go into it, the bigger power you will acquire. But the majority of people are busy and restless both physically and mentally, so they can't really practice Kungfu. The collective dancing and gymnastics can, to our surprise, attract many people to practice because if a person can't go into the innermost of the Way, he can only exist in the superficial things; he can't stand tranquility, so he has to find a hustling and bustling place. This explains why some real Kungfu and cultivation methods of mind have very few followers. For this reason, Tai-chi Way also advocates practicing Kungfu and preserving health gradually from the surface to the core and finally to the real purpose of scientific health care and the essence of life.
Great Strengthht:
First of all, Kungfu practitioners must possess great strength, which is the essential element of all what we call Kungfu. Without strength, any Kungfu can't be deemed real Kungfu, even if it has many a skill; and its practitioners will not become outstanding masters because they are not perfect. However, if you have strength, you have the ability to kill or wound your opponents and such fighting techniques as throwing, grabbing and holding can well be used. Stricken by those who have little strength, you will still be OK; but stricken by those who have great strength, you will be injured or disarmed at once. Moreover, if the strength is great and vehement, it can also boost practitioners' confidence and make them braver in face of their opponents. Certainly, Kungfu must be improved in an all-round way, but strength is primary. As the saying goes, one percent of strength is superior to one-hundred percent of techniques. Tai-chi Way 's strength derives from the spirit and consciousness and energy, which is the touchstone of whether one's practice of Tai-chi Way is correct.
Vehement Explosive Force£º
Attacks must be quick and the explosive force must be vehement. This is true not only in attacks but also in defenses. The attacking and defending movements must be both so quick and vehement that your opponents will fail to foresee or observe them. As the folksay goes, one should take his enemy by surprise; Sunzi, the ancient Chinese master of military strategy, also said, one should attack when his enemy is not alerted and prepared. Quick and vehement attacks can make one's enemy fail to respond leisuredly and make one hit his enemy more easily. Moreover, when a master fights a master, the victory or failure often hinges on a little breadth of the difference in speed. Ordinary people may not be able to discern it, but when they are really engaged, the result will be clear soon. Being quick and vehement can blow the enemy easily when occasions arise, can defend and fight back more effectively, can enable one dodge, stretch, leap and budge and can enable one to apply his techniques more proficiently. Off course, any Kungfu demands a series of practice methods and requires resolution and perseverance of its practitioners.
Quick Response £º
Spirit and consciousness Tai-chi Way has scientific practice approaches, which centers on perception of the spirit and consciousness with some supporting actions. The stronger the spirit and consciousness are, the more powerful the Kungfu will be. In addition, the Kungfu practitioners' response will be sensitive and quick to the degree that every cell and pore of the body is alerted and will respond instantly when activated. Moreover, Tai-chi Way will improve practitioners' spirit and consciousness when they are on the battlefield and enable practitioners to go into the battle station and manifest an atmosphere of tigers or wolves ready to struggle for dear life. So Tai-chi Way 's practitioners can respond really swiftly and adroitly because they respond not through the brain but through the spirit and consciousness. Naturally, it necessitates scientific training of every movement and posture of the Kungfu. Quick response can shorten the time to defend against or strike the enemy and quicken the defense and attack .
Infinite Techniques£º
A person has the trunk, arms, legs, hands and feet. The Kungfu that makes best use of the human body is the most scientific Kungfu. In this respect, Bruce Lee has set a very good example. But his practice of Kungfu is still not very scientific because it does harm to the vital energy. A good practice method of Kungfu must not shorten practitioners' life span and must be able to nourish the vital energy. For any Kungfu, to strike the opponent with the simplest, quickest and most direct means is sufficient; the same is true in defense. As for Tai-chi Way, it has infinite movements and postures to fight its enemy, including seizing, holding, throwing, fisting, kicking, striking with elbows and knees, poking of the shoulder, back and crotch and the use of head, etc. When using the techniques, one must be flexible. His body looks relaxed yet exerts strong power of spirit and consciousness, which explodes in a flash and is highly responsive. In addition, Tai-chi Way's techniques include the combination of the true and false and the upper and lower movements as well as the advance and retreat and what's more, the spirit. To sum up, Tai-chi Way 's boxing techniques are infinite indeed; they are not fixed, but changeable depending on different persons, situations, locations, conditions, etc. Practitioners must always have acute wisdom and adopt the strategy of highly regarding the opponents strategically while looking down upon them tactically.
Lightning Hands£º
Hands are dexterous and deadly to the opponent's vitals. They are mostly likely to blow the enemy beyond its expectation. Hands are also the best defense weapon, which can directly protect your head, chest, stomach, etc. Therefore, hand strikes must be as quick as possible, so that you can deal a blow to your enemy who will fail to dodge. Only when you are quick enough, you are able to withdraw your hands to protect your own vitals from being attacked by your enemy and you are able to take ease in defense and attack, grasping and seizing and holding and throwing¡All of the offensive movements, whether of the hand or foot, must be quick so as to shorten the time the enemy uses to respond. The prelude to your attack shall be as short as possible.
Dragon-like LegsLegs£º
When one flings his legs, he also exposes half of his body to his enemy. So using legs is easy to bring one down to the ground or make one easily held by his opponent. This is why the use of legs must be quick, no matter to stretch out or withdraw them. In addition, one has to use his legs together with his hands and adopt the true and false strategy in the process. The striking point of one's hands and legs in attack shall be big, hard and protrusive besides strength and speed, so that the force can be transmitted effectively to impact the enemy. Otherwise, one can't blow his enemy at all and on the contrary, will put himself in jeopardy. The techniques of using legs shall be flexible and changing. One must master as many techniques as possible. At ordinary times, one shall practice them hard; in case of fighting, one shall use them as occasion requires. The strength of legs is bigger than that of hands and what's more, it is hidden. This is why legs are a very good tool to overwhelm the enemy in martial arts. Tai-chi Way 's leg techniques are basically similar to those of Bruce Lee.
Agile Trunk£º
The trunk is the main part of human beings while the waist is the commander. Every action hinges on the waist, so it is extremely important to drill the waist. Other Kungfus generally pay heed to the waist or what is called the pubic region, too, which is seemingly correct. However, only spirit and consciousness is the key. Spirit and consciousness are based on the alert of the whole body, never a single part. One has to go through a series of learning to master the control of spirit and consciousness which require personal examples as well as verbal instructions. Without instructions of the master, it is easy for a practitioner to think that he has gone astray and wasted his precious time and even to go nowhere in all his life. Once the trunk is agile, the limbs will be flexible naturally. What's more, the spirit and consciousness of Tai-chi Way is integrated wholly with the human body; they are wholehearted spirit and consciousness, submerging one in a body of inspirations. It is very hard to express the phenomenon, which demands practitioners' insight and luck and correct instructions of their masters. It is possible that the master teaches well but the learner still fails; it is also possible that the master instructs badly but the learner realizes them well.
Lasting Stamina£º
Kungfu practitioners must have lasting stamina. If a person is out of breath only shortly after confrontation, however master he is in the Kungfu, he will not be able to bring it into play. Facing a strong opponent, one must be calm and poised and dauntless. When necessary, he commits his strength like lightning; when unnecessary, he relaxes both his mind and body while keeping alert on attacks of the enemy and always ready to release his power. If one is nervous in confrontation, he will consume his energy much more quickly since nervousness and fright will cause great obstacles to the circulation of vital energy around the human body, so it is a taboo for Kungfu practitioners. To practice Tai-chi Way will smooth the circulation of blood and vital energy and thus build up the body while enhancing the spirit, consciousness, energy and strength and finally improve the stamina. Consequently, one will be more confident and display his Kungfu better. Even if confronting many opponents, still, he will not be defeated due to lack of stamina.
Flexible Pliant Body£º
The body shall be flexible to some degree; the waist shall be able to stretch to all directions; the crotch, shoulder, leg, neck, hand and foot shall all go through some exercises. Only in this way can one be able to strike as many part of his opponent as possible, increase the force of his strikes as much as possible and also dissolve the opponent's attacks as easily as possible. Further, it is beneficial to both the physical and mental health. The soft Kungfu shall be practiced at the intervals of the practice of other Kungfu. Tai-chi Way 's Kungfu is generally practiced separately. If one allocates scientifically his time to various Kungfus, he will be able to get twice the result with half the efforts. The soft Kungfu is also a means to delay the aging of human body.
Integration of Toughness and Gentleness£º
The essence of Tai-chi Way is to tranquilize the soul and preserve health. Kungfu is just a by-product of the process, but it is the most scientific Kungfu. So long as one loves it and devoted himself to the practice, he will definitely become an unfathomable Kungfu master. In practice, one should be gentle and quiet for most of the time while sometimes one should also have a test of his strength (internal power of his spirit and consciousness). When confronting with the enemy, one should be at ease, but also be able to become extremely rigid in a split second. To be gentle is for the purpose of leading the strength more effectively and deliver the force more quickly. Therefore, gentleness is the mother of toughness. Likewise, withdrawal is the beginning of advance. A practitioner is supposed to save his energy and wait for his chance in struggles. He shall be quick, ferocious and powerful in motion and clamp down on his opponent in a flash, without giving a moment to his enemy to discover his intention. Gentleness is able to integrate one's spirit, consciousness, energy and strength, make one stand firmly, give rise to high speed and sensitivity and enable one to dissolve attacks more easily. By combining toughness and gentleness, practitioners can keep a balance of their energy without incurring over-consumption.
Ferocity of Tigers£º
Practitioners must display a domineering atmosphere and spirit and be able to scare their enemy. This requires special trainings, but some people are born with such overwhelming air. They deem their opponents as gentle as lambs. In confrontation, one must have the spirit of pressing forward bravely. From the moment one engages his opponent, he shall not slacken. Instead, he should attack or defend as swiftly as he can. He should dodge, advance, leap or budge and combine the true and false, left and right and upper and lower techniques, making his opponent impossible to defend effectively. He shall never stop until his enemy is defeated. In this sense, Tai-chi Way is to display somewhat the original brutehood of human beings and let practitioners have a taste of such experience. But keep in mind that we are all playing a game, so never be ruthless to your opponents. Anyway, they are also human beings, who play the same game with you.
Seemingly-iInvisible Movements£º
Practitioners shall move as quickly as lightning once they engage their opponents. Their movements are delivered one after another very fluently and swiftly and vehemently. Their defenses and attacks are carried through without any interruptions so that they are seemingly delivering only one movement. They look like boxing without techniques, but in fact, they deliver their movements naturally along the course of their body's actions. They attack to dissolve their opponents' attack and do not draw a line between offenses and defenses. Off course, it takes time to reach this realm. When practitioners have the feeling that every part of their body is sensitive to threat and every part of their body is able to attack their enemies as a tool, they will have a sense of accomplishment and better temperament. They will be confident enough to engage any opponents.
lethal attacks£º
However, the responding and moving speed of human beings is limited anyway. When the speed transcends a certain limit, people are susceptible to attacks. A master will sometimes be dealt a blow by another master. Boxing is a capricious art in nature. What's more, to err is human being. So even the most versed master will come across failure; there are no ever-victorious masters. This is true from the ancient up to date. Any person, like everything in the world, has his prime time and then his fall. Human beings are complex in the first place. Sometimes they are excited and sometimes they are low-spirited; sometimes they are full of beans and sometimes they are in doldrums; sometimes they are confident and sometimes they are diffident. The reason is that the vital energy of human beings is moving and changing constantly, just like man's joy, sadness, love, etc. If a person is vigorous when he faces his opponent, it is certain that he will win because he will be confident and gallant. On the contrary, if he happens to be in a low spirit, he will probably fail. Masters of Tai-chi Way are able to overwhelm their opponents the moment they are engaged. Certainly, this is true only when their opponents are ordinary. Off course, he who has such ability must be real masters who have gone through various practical exercises, rather than the so-called only famous masters.
Tenacious Spirit£º
Practitioners must overcome every bad habits and inborn shortcomings as well as difficulties from all sources and arm themselves with a tenacious will. They shall persevere in their practice without being afraid of hardship. They shall try to perceive connotations of various movements and postures and make their practice scientific. They shall sense life all the time and nourish the power of spirit and consciousness and feel the mystery of human body and research the artistic nature of their skills for the purpose of satisfying various requirements of Tai-chi Way's Kungfu. They shall press forward undauntingly and never come up with the idea of quitting lightly. They shall attach importance to their opponents strategically while deeming themselves superior to their enemies tactically. ¡°I will win; I will defeat my opponent for sure; and the enemy will fail definitely in face of my powerful spirit and consciousness Kungfu.¡± These shall be their faith forever.
Kindheartedness to Both PeopleHumans and ObjectsThings£º
Although Tai-chi Way 's Kungfu also aims to some degree to defeat practitioners' opponents, it by no means aims to foster brutal devils. Practitioners of Tai-chi Way must be in the first place persons with both moral integrity and virtues; a violent and atrocious person can't practice Tai-chi Way because we aim to cultivate a social force on the justice's side rather than on the evil's side. Certainly, an evil person can by no means go anywhere because only kindheartedness to others and everything in the universe can add to a practitioner's intangible power. It is a universal truth that the Way's power will nourish a kindhearted soul and the world will be in harmony with it. All masters are kindhearted; no ferocious person can make a master in the end, a lunatic scoundrel at best. Laozi said, ¡°Cruelty leads to death; and cruel people will die tragic death.¡± So Tai-chi Way 's practitioners must bear in mind that they should be kindhearted to anything in the world because human beings and all other things are an integral entity. Laozi had three ¡°treasures¡± to walk in the world; they are: firstly, kindheartedness; secondly, frugality; and thirdly; not to take the lead in doing everything.
Non-competitiveness£º
If you encounter an emulative person, just let him win. If possible, let him have a test of your power, but never do harm to him or what's worse, embarrass him in the public because it is totally unnecessary. If the person is vain, you are supposed to render him more comfortable. Practitioners shall understand that it is sheer unnecessary to compete with any other schools or sects of Kungfu for the title of the first place in the world for there is no first place at all under the heaven. You shall endeavor to create a harmonious environment and please everybody. Consider any other schools or sects as your friends rather than enemies. The purpose of Tai-chi Way is to protect yourself and preserve your health and sense yourself and finally get close to the truth of life. Never fall in the sinister groove and reduce yourself to be near-sighted mouse and insect. Tai-chi Way does not compete for its Kungfu; rather, it competes with other Kungfu for who is more kindhearted; who realizes the Way earlier; and who can be non-competitive. In these respect, those who do better will have bigger power. In fact, to be harmonious with others and everything in the world is to be in harmony with the Way, so the more harmonious you are with the outside world, the deeper your understanding of the Way will be. Off course, one has to lead an ascetic life in the society, carefree and disentangled. When this happens, a person will live in realizations, namely, in the spirit and consciousness, and will be kindhearted to and tolerant of others, without harboring the intent of juggling with and doing harm to others. By this time, he will be said to have accomplished something in the practice of Tai-chi Way . Some people will come across some mysterious things shortly after they contact Tai-chi Way . This is the result of not only Tai-chi Way , but also their own karma. Laozi said, ¡°if a person dares to take a firm stance against his enemy, he will be killed; if he takes a soft stance, he may be let live.¡± Off course, Laozi had his profounder meaning by so saying.
Non-use Principle£º
There are plenty of methods to practice Tai-chi Way . Every person can adopt different practice methods in accordance with their own conditions. Practice of Tai-chi Way shall focus on the spirit and consciousness, strength, speed, waist power, coordination, techniques and soft Kungfu. Every above item has many aspects, for example, the practice of vision and sensitivity of eyes. Tai-chi Way advocates practice of Kungfu, but it does not advocate frivolous use of Kungfu. It maintains that practitioners shall be kindhearted to others. In addition, laws do not allow a person to harm another. If a practitioner uses it to do harm to others, he will be embroiled with troubles; and subsequently, he will throw away the original meaning of Kungfu practice. Practitioners shall regard their Kungfu as a game. Some people are still strangers to the Way, but very interested in Kungfu. In this sense, Kungfu is a door through which the karma-favored people step into the real life. Upon entry of this door, a new life begins.
Heroism£º
The society advocates heroism, which champions helping others out of dangers. Tai-chi Way 's heroism calls for mercy, non-competitiveness and kindheartedness to others. When everybody is competing for the so-called first place in the Kungfu circle, we Tai-chi Way practitioners are competing for who is brave enough to stand back and does not compete. This is not a manifestation of our inability; nor is it a show of our Kungfu being inferior to others'. Tai-chi Way is the most scientific Kungfu in the world. In the present China , there are very few real masters of vision. Most Kungfu masters have gone astray. Some boxing masters have mere reputation but no real Kungfu; surprisingly, their followers are not few, including even some foreign learners. They are really doing harm to both themselves and others. The current society is really hard to describe. Those who want to learn Tai-chi Chuan have no idea where to learn the real Tai-chi. In this society, we shall cherish a kindhearted and merciful soul, let everything be and be tolerant of every other person and thing, because all beings are divine. We must let them be. To go against them is to go against ourselves. What's worse, resistance to them will only bring about a hell while following the course of nature means a paradise. It all depends on our thoughts. Cleverness and foolishness determines the choice of paradise and hell respectively. Life is short, so we must live by wisdom. Be placid and broad-minded and carefree! The world created by god is already perfect; it is in need of no changes we impose on. This philosophy is also a subject matter Tai-chi Way practitioners must deal with; it is namely cultivation of the mind. Only mercy is the real bravery. A real brave person will not let any external troubles disturb his tranquil soul. It is the very connotation of the cockfighting story told by Laozi.
Tranquil Soul £º
In whatever we do, having a tranquil soul is essential. But nowadays, most people have been crazy and wandered away too far from their nature. As a result, they tend to be suffering severe setbacks and pains and unable to settle themselves down. Therefore, we must withdraw our wandering souls and realize who we are. So long as we do so, we will not act blindly, hate or compete with others, not to mention going into such lunatic actions as stabbing other with a knife, which is actually a manifestation of insanity which is not realized by the doer himself. So long as we realize it, we will not come to that point; so long as we realize ourselves, we can get rid of that nightmare and live a true life. Don't dedicate yourself to the seemingly colorful world; be with yourself. Nothing is the big deal; then why do we have to torture ourselves? As long as you realize it, the hell will turn into a paradise immediately. It will all depend on yourself to choose what kind of life you will live. So long as you realize it a little bit and come back to your own life, you will enjoy serenity, joy and love. The farther you wander from yourself, the more painful you will be. However, a tranquil soul will enable a person to obtain the real life and then the power of the heaven and earth (Way) will nourish him. This is why we say a tranquil soul is essential for health preservation and Kungfu practice. Tranquil soul can also harmonize individuals and the society and everything in the world.
Body Building and Morality Cultivation£º
The whole array of practice methods of Tai-chi Way aims exactly to enable practitioners to realize the spirit and consciousness and in the meantime, to make them strong and healthy with smooth circulation of vital energy. Health will calm people down. This is what people say of ¡°healthy body first and then flourishing Way¡±. Body building is the result of Tai-chi Way 's Kungfu and health preservation effect while morality cultivation is the result of Tai-chi Way 's soul tranquilization function. Body building can't be separated from morality cultivation and vice versa; they are an integral whole. Tai-chi Way works to settle the restless soul down and make people as simple as the static water through scientific approaches. If this really happens, the vital energy will then be harmonious and circulate smoothly and a person will be happy and serene, and naturally be healthy. This is actually the indispensable foundation of Tai-chi Way . As a matter of fact, everybody shall take a correct life style, distance the dark and seek the bright, blend life into the sea of the Way and lead a real life.
Body Shaping£º
A person who over-consumes his vital energy will not have a good complexion and beautiful figure. Even lack of a sound sleep will result in the same. The reason lies in the loss of vital energy. A young man's face is ruddy and the bark of saplings is green. How about that of an old man or an old tree? When a person is devoid of lunacy, he will be able to get into the nucleus of life; he will have strong vital energy; he will be free of health concern. Naturally, he will be relaxed; and thus have smooth blood circulation. As a result, he will have good health and plenty of energy and blood. When a person is full of energy and blood, his body will certainly thrive and keep away from diseases. Ultimately, his body shape will be beautiful with little fat (obesity); his face and lip will be florid. Unlike other Kungfu, Tai-chi Way does not seek only exercise of the body. Instead, it stresses mind cultivation and soul tranquilization and nourishment of vital energy. It aims to resume people's vital energy through a series of methods and enable the life to last long like ever-green trees. Moreover, it can improve people's body shape and temperament and endow people with the childish purity and honesty and produce perfect men, physically and mentally beautiful men and men who are harmonious with every other human and object in the world.
Distinctive Temperament£º
A person who really has Kungfu will betray a different temperament, which makes him more confident and kindhearted. The practice of perceiving the spirit and consciousness will give rise to a special temperament, which is elegance and confidence and harmony. The practice of Tai-chi Way 's leg Kungfu will create a beautiful figure and healthy body. practitioners of Tai-chi Way will not only undergo changes of the body, but also the change of their temperament, which is even more conspicuous, because they are enlightened while others are unenlightened; they live with themselves while others live out of themselves; they are persons integrating the spirit and body while others are persons whose spirit and body are separated; and they live wisely, truly and enlightenedly. A person who has powerful Kungfu will have an energy field which can be felt by others; he will have distinctive spirit and consciousness, which is a manifestation of enlightenment (realization).
Prolongation of Lifespan£º
Since Tai-chi Way holds realization of the spirit and consciousness as the core and the soul tranquilization as the foundation, it can nourish the body and invigorate the vital energy and blood circulation. Once the vital energy circulation becomes unchecked and harmonious, every cell of the body will be fully nourished and the metabolism will slow down. Since the power of spirit and consciousness is the same as that of the Way, so Tai-chi Way goes directly to the origin of life. At the beginning, practitioners can build up the muscle to some degree, but can't focus on the strength exercise. One shall choose what Kungfu he practices according to his own conditions. If a person is muscular, then he shall focus on the practice of spirit and consciousness realization and shall not devote much time to the practice of strength, lest the vital energy is over-consumed and results in early weakening of other organs. Tai-chi Way aims mainly to enable people to take on the road towards a prosperous life. It relaxes the body and directs the energy of the Way to circulate throughout the body and thus relieve people of any diseases. Off course, one has to realize completely the spirit of Tai-chi Way before he benefits from it in this respect. Life is destined, but the real life is immortal. A person can't hold longevity as the goal; on the contrary, he shall aim at how to live a true life and hold no goal as the goal. He shall have the nerve not to compete and have the nerve to explore into the depth of life. The self and body will die, but man is eternal. You have never been born into the world and will never die away from it. Living man is nothing but joy, love, existence and kindheartedness. This is the very essence of Tai-chi Way .
Konfu Maintenance for the Aged£º
Real Kungfu is not based on muscles, but on spirit and consciousness. Just because it does not concentrate on exercise of muscles, a person can still have real realization, plenty of energy and clear mind even when he gets older. The power of his Kungfu will undergo a little change but still he will have powerful spirit and consciousness. However, he is not expected to use his power ad libitum because he will loss his energy easily. When a person gets old, he should be devoid of any desires and resistant to the colorful outside world because once a person gets weak, it will be more difficult for him to reflect on himself and thus more easy to return to the unenlightened state. So Tai-chi Way always advocates to tranquilize the soul and be carefree and not to compete with others. Let's play the game of Tai-chi Way and not fall in the pit of various temptations. Let's realize ourselves all the time and be with ourselves always. In the ever-changing world, our souls shall be as static as the dead water, without any ripples; our mind shall be as vast as the blue sky, without any dark clouds. We are the existence; we are the consciousness; we are together with the mountains and rivers; we are everything in the world; we are the nucleus of the universe, but nevertheless, we have not the slightest intent to think so, because we are also kindheartedness and love and we are an integral entity. Every one of us shall follow the way the saint does. Even though people who attain the Way are extremely few in the current society, we are all accumulating our karma for the goal throughout the cycle of our lives. Even if we can't attain the Way in this life, we have laid a foundation for the coming one. To attain the Way is just a realization and means death of the self. It all depends on what you want to live in, the self or the reality.
